Kenny Metroff has almost 20 years experience as a performer, writer, host & facilitator. He has traveled across the country hosting events and facilitating workshops for companies and universities that include Siemens, Caterpillar, Astellas Pharma, University of Illinois and Oberlin College to name a few. A truly memorable experience was performing with The Second City aboard a cruise ship!
Most recently, he wrote and starred in his web series It’s A Parent on YouTube, about being a stay-at-home dad when he isn’t working a gig. The comedic web series has won multiple awards for performance and writing from film festivals in LA, New York, Paris, London & Austin.
You can also see him in NBC’s Chicago Fire , a Chicago Blackhawks commercial, and a plethora of other commercials, independent films and training videos. Other stage credits include: iO, Annoyance, pH Comedy Theater, solo shows at The Second City studio stages and over 10 years of stand up comedy.
He is a proud alumni THE Illinois State University where he received degrees in Acting & Theatre Education; as well as, being an alumni of The Second City graduate program, iO, Annoyance, & ComedySportz training centers.
He lives in an adorable neighborhood in Chicago with an amazing wife, two wonderful children and his prized possession: a World Series ring from the Chicago Cubs (for being a Wrigley Field tour guide, come take a tour!).
