My name is Jackie Smook. I am a singer, actor, writer, comedian, and puppet maker. I have been in National and regional commercials, done a series with doordash featuring my puppets, guest star in multiple TV shows, perform at Second City, and even was a contestant on American idol. I have been a puppet maker since the pandemic, a writer since college, and an exciting confident woman for life.
Alongside puppetry and writing, I also host bingo and trivia for corporate events, public speak and am a licensed Real Estate agent. Within my real estate adventures, I train prospective agents, and was the top renter in the 2022 summer season. I am currently on Minor league for ComedySports and host and headline for multiple comedy shows around town. I have written and produced many one woman shows and have a residency at the Famous Davenports Piano Bar in Chicago.
My show The Jackie Smook Program of De-dumbification has been reviewed by many magazines and has won awards. My Show Under Your Skin was featured in many publications such as the Chicago Tribune and was a featured act in Chicago Cabaret Week.
I performed my original show at 54 Below in NYC (Broadway), and we were an official selection for United Solo Theater Festival Spring in NYC (off-Broadway), where I was awarded BEST EMERGING ARTIST AWARD 2023. I have been recognized for my work as a writer and speaker and look forward to sharing this work with you and your amazing teams.
